COVID-19

Information for Screening Program Clients

The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency cares about the safety and well being of our screening program clients. We are taking precautionary measures to minimize the risk of contracting or spreading the COVID-19.

These measures include canceling breast screening mammogram appointments at each of our Screening Program for Breast Cancer centres and on the bus.

We are unable to reschedule appointments at this time, as we do not know when the precautionary measures can be lifted. If you had your mammogram appointment canceled, we will call you to reschedule as soon as we can resume booking.

The Screening Program for Colorectal Cancer has suspended mailing FIT kits to residents until precautionary measures are lifted. If you currently have a kit at home, please wait until the precautions are lifted to complete your test. If your kit expires before the precautions have been lifted, you can call the screening program to receive a new kit at that time. Please call 1-855-292-2202 or your physician if you have concerns regarding a colonoscopy booking.

The Screening Program for Cervical Cancer is not sending out program invitation letters at this time. If you recently had a Pap test, you will still receive your results in the mail.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
